Impact evaluation to support the
Marketing of Moka Mera learning apps

PROBLEM

Creative company Moilo wanted evidence to show teachers the educational value of their two apps, Moka Mera Emotions and Moka Mera Lingua.

THE
SOLUTION

We tested the apps with and without accompanying lesson plans in a UK nursery school. French language and emotional recognition tests were carried out before and after using the learning materials, to assess whether children’s scores improved.

THE
RESULT

An academic-style report showing measurable improvement in French skills and emotional vocabulary, for Emotions and Lingua respectively. The report also included feedback from teachers to provide further support for the teaching materials.
