An evidence-based framework to
support the marketing of STEAM toys

PROBLEM

The trade association for the North American toy industry, The Toy Association™, wanted to help their members produce and market Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) toys.

SOLUTION

We carried out a literature review to design a STEAM framework, that included a checklist for assessing toys along with guidance for use.

RESULT

The framework was used to develop an official STEAM accreditation scheme. We are now partnered with the client to independently carry out the reviews.
