Associate Bio

As an early childhood expert with nearly a decade of experience, Arielle specializes in developing and assessing cutting-edge, play-based, and joyful learning opportunities for ALL children and families. Her consulting practice allows her to apply her subject matter expertise to content creation, consulting, and UX research work.

Prior to consulting, Arielle taught pre-k in urban public school settings where she integrated components of anti-bias, anti-racist framework, the Reggio Emilia approach, and inquiry-based learning to effectively address the diverse and emergent needs of her students. She additionally founded a virtual summer camp during the height of the pandemic to ensure early learners had access to affordable enrichment options. In both endeavors, Arielle approached learning through the lens of equity and inclusion and operated with the philosophy of the family as the child’s first teacher.

Arielle holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Studies from University of Michigan.

Current / Notable Projects

In her work with Committee for Children, Sarah designed, edited, and reviewed curricula and media for the Second Step Program, a suite of social emotional learning curricula used to teach 20.5 million kids in thousands of schools and after-school programs around the world. 

In her work for the Walt Disney Company, Sarah designed and edited internationally-distributed educational resources for “Moana,” (2016) “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” (2017) and “Dolphin Reef” (2018).
