Associate Bio
Joanna has worked as an artist and illustrator for over twenty years with her work sold both nationally and internationally for clients ranging from Shreds for Harrods and Selfridges to Halcyon Days Fine Enamels in Mayfair, ITV and MPD Designs with Paddington Bear & Co.
Her work in children’s books includes some of the biggest selling brands in the world and she has won a Purple Dragonfly Award for excellence in children’s literature.
Joanna also works as an Art Director on publishing, brochure and packaging projects, enjoying collaboration and communication on projects, working as part of the team as well as leading where needed.
Her clients include The World of Dinosaur Roar, fairy brand children’s books for a major publisher with Dynamo Ltd as well as poses and icons with Michelle Porte-Davies Design for Paddington Bear & Co’s Official Illustrated Brand Guide.
Illustration for packaging, TV and film props( Lewis with ITV), interpreted historical illustration as Lead Artist on Herts Hidden Heroines for Trestle Theatre Company, and giftware design for The Sherlock Holmes Museum.
Joanna has also appeared on live Sky TV for Create and Craft, demonstrating the wonders of illustration. Her other work in participation and devising/running workshops for clients include The Woodland Trust, The Wildlife Trust and New Hope Trust in Watford.
